Preschool

LWA provides an academic-focused, reputable full day preschool program for children ages one through four. Through an engaging, thematic center-based system, our three and four year old students are well prepared for Kindergarten and truly set up for success in their educational journey! Students are offered a well-rounded and enriching experience that will provide them a firm foundation for years of learning.

Classroom Centers:  Each day the classroom is transformed with centers that tie in with the theme of the day. Centers rotate based on the lessons.

K2 Class

  • Well labeled set of clothing & a pair of shoes in a Ziplock
  • 1 Backpack (to fit blanket/pillow & folder)
  • 2 Boxes of tissue & 3 Boxes of baby wipes

Materials:

  • 1 Pack of Play-Doh (No modeling clay or Fundough)
  • 1 Pack of chubby pencils
  • 1 Pack of chubby crayons
  • 1 Pack of washable markers
  • 1 Pack of Expo dry erase markers
  • 2 Plastic Folders with pockets
  • 1 Fiskars scissors (blunt tip)
  • Watercolor set
  • Paint smock
  • 1 Pack of construction paper
  • 1 Ream of copy paper
  • 1 Pack finger paint
  • 2 Packs glue sticks (or 4 glue sticks)

  • 2 Packs of 2 glue sticks (or 4 glue sticks)
  • 1 Ream of copy paper
