Access Program
Living Word Academy offers a specialized program for children with disabilities through our ACCESS Program. This program provides academic instruction based on each child’s needs and goals within a Christ-centered environment. It serves as an alternative Exceptional Student Education (ESE) option.

What is ESE? (Exceptional Student Education)
ESE is designed for students in Florida who require special instruction and services due to disabilities. This ensures they receive the support they need for academic success.
Who Qualifies?
Students ages 3–21 who are eligible for ESE services, as determined by their school district, may participate in this program.
Why ACCESS?
The ACCESS Program helps students feel included and supported. They learn alongside their peers in traditional classroom settings, building understanding and respect for individual differences.

OCPS – Non Public School Services for Students
Exceptional Student Education Non Public Services provides evaluation services to students who do not participate in the public school system and who are in kindergarten through twelfth grade. These services include assistance in initially determining if a non-public school student may need special education services, and conducting reevaluations for identified students with disabilities.
OCPS also partners with Orange County non-profit private schools to provide support and services to students with disabilities who are in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
CARD: Center for Autism and Related Disabilities
Our primary service is to provide individualized, direct consultative assistance to individuals with autism and related disabilities in Central Florida and their families.
Other services include technical assistance and consultation, professional training programs, and public education activities.
