Background Checks

Parents will need a NEW Background Check for the upcoming School Year. All Background Checks expire every July 31st.

For the safety of our students, Living Word Academy enforces a security process in which any person 18 years or older, such as a parent, family member or friend, will need current a Local Background Check on require contact with other students, such as:

• Child’s Birthday at School
• Chaperone at Filed Trips
• Field Day
• Class Parties
• Volunteering

Background Checks must be renewed every school year in August. A prior criminal record may or may not result in your disqualification for participating; however, failure to disclose your record WILL disqualify you from volunteering and/or participating in student related activities.
